Tina Romenesko PYT/MAT/C-IAYT has completed over 1000 hours of training and is a Professional Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher, MBSR Accredited Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Assistant MBSR Teacher Trainer with Mindful Academy International.

Tina has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation for over 35 years. Her focus is on the therapeutic potential of yoga and mindfulness to heal body, mind, and spirit.

Tina offers Mindfulness Courses and Meditation sessions throughout the city of Milwaukee - check the Classes and Workshops links on her webpage www.trilliumstudiomke.com for details.

Tina is also a certified YogaMotion instructor (200 hour) and completed her second 200-hour certification with Tias Little at Prajna Yoga, in Santa Fe New Mexico in 2006. Both of these trainings, along with a strong and dedicated personal practice, have provided a deep foundational study of yoga alignment, philosophy, meditation, and breath technique that are the basis for Tina’s classes, workshops, and private sessions.

In 2007, Tina completed her Yoga Therapy certification (500 hour), with Joseph and Lillian LePage of Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT). Tina specializes in the study of mudras, or hand gestures, used in meditation and practice and recently received an advanced certification in Mudras, Pranayama, and Bandhas from IYT. She is a also a certified Yoga Therapist accredited by the IAYT International Association of Yoga Therapists in the USA.

Tina’s classes and private sessions place equal emphasis on body, mind, and spirit - blending a mix of postures, breathwork, meditation, and deep relaxation into every session..

As a Yoga Therapist, Tina works with clients dealing with a wide range of issues including cancer, heart disease, stress related imbalances, hormone issues, skeletal issues, injury, life transitions and just about anything else.

Tina’s other passion is poetry – she often reads poetry in her yoga classes as an intention, revisiting lines throughout the practice to merge imagery and feeling states of being at a deeper level.

After completing her Master's work in Spanish Literature and Culture by studying at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, Tina has expanded her repertoire into service work in Nicaragua, working with PINCC (Prevention International - No Cervical Cancer) as an interpreter. Visit the blog on her home page to read about her experiences in June of 2012 and 2013. These life changing events have catapulted Tina toward India this November for a 4 week tour of the Northern regions, blogging on the progress of numerous projects for women, supported by the international service group Dining For Women (DFW) .
